Health Surveillance

Employers must provide health monitoring sometimes called “surveillance” for their employees. This involves checking employee health using various tests, such as vision and hearing checks, lung function tests and skin checks. We use surveillance as an effective means of detecting any change in employee health at the earliest possible stage.

Guiding you on the the road toward your preferred health and work life balance.

Black and Banton are able to provide a health surveillance service covering any or all of your staff. This surveillance would be carried out on a one-on-one basis by our fully qualified staff onsite during agreed working days, or at our Team Valley clinic where specialist clinician rooms are available to cater for any occupational or physical health requirements. We also have a mobile assessment unit which can be deployed to any location necessary.

We can offer the standard health surveillance checks or adapt our testing if you have specific checks you would like done on your employees. Health surveillance usually follows these steps:

All relevant staff are assessed to create a baseline of health On a future date – for example twelve months from initial baseline assessment – all relevant staff are assessed again and results compared against previous assessments The regularity of health surveillance assessments is determined by an employee’s role and exposure to possible risks. This can be discussed and agreed upon with you at any point
